H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has issued a law pertaining to the selling of goods at discounted or reduced prices.
Law No.06 of 2016 stipulates that commercial shops wishing to launch sales or reductions in prices on their goods should obtain permission from the concerned department at the RAK Department of Economic Development, mentioning when the sale begins and when it will be concluded, along with information about the percentage of price reduction or discount.
The Law is effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
