Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr discussed on Monday with Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) Manager Jan Buijze boosting SCCT investments in East Port Said Port.
The SCCT is always looking forward to pump more investments into East Port Said Port, Buijze said, adding that the company investments in the port surpass 850 million dollars.
Meanwhile, Nasr welcomed SCCT willingness to expand its investments as a part of developing Suez Canal axis, a statement issued by the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation said.
The minister stressed the government's keenness on removing all hindrances facing investors and encouraging foreign companies to do business in Egypt through a marketing plan being prepared in coordination with the Suez Canal Authority to upgrade port quays in SCZone.
