Al Habtoor Group Vice Chairman and CEO Mohammed Al Habtoor has inaugurated Dubai's largest and newest catering facility, Metropolitan Catering, with a total cost of AED25 million.
In a press conference following the ribbon cutting ceremony, Al Habtoor said the facility will increase its current capacity of 12,000 meals per day to 24,000 next year, he said.
With an increased capacity enabling an output of between 45,000 and 55,000 meals per day, the new facilities are the newest and largest of their kind in Dubai.
The state-of-the-art facility, located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, offers private, corporate and commercial catering.
In line with the new facilities in the Jebel Al Free Zone, Metropolitan Catering also unveiled a fresh brand identity, which was showcased at this year's Arabian Travel Market.
