“Made in Syria” exhibition, being held in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad witnessed large turnout on its fourth day.
Iraq’s Trade Minister Salman al-Jamili and a number of officials visited the exhibition and toured its pavilions with Head of the Syrian Exporters Federation Mohammad al-Sawah who hailed the efforts exerted to open the exhibition and meet the needs of the Iraqi market.
The 20-day exhibition encourages direct-to-consumer selling, held on Baghdad International Fair with the participation of 200 companies specialized in engineering, health, food and textile industries.
Visitors of the exhibition expressed their admiration over the high-quality and the development of the Syrian industry despite the war and the coercive economic measures imposed on the Syrian people.
It is expected that two more shipments of Syrian goods are going to arrive in the exhibition within two days.
The activities of “Made in Syria” exhibition kicked off on December 9 and witnessed a huge turnout of businessmen, traders and Iraqi citizens.
