The Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation, Empower, world’s largest district cooling services provider, won the 2016 Marketing, PR and Communications Award presented by the Corporate Vision Magazine, a British publication specialising in business and corporate sectors.
Empower won the award in Designing and Marketing, the Most Innovative Brand category, for its campaign "Saving Starts At 24C." The campaign aimed to reduce cooling service consumption and was launched by the company during the summer, targeting over 65,000 customers.
"We are pleased to receive this honour. At Empower, it is our commitment to launch new, innovative and effective campaigns that drive us closer to our energy-saving goals. We are extremely happy with the success of Saving Starts At 24C campaign. While the campaign saved 8.9 percent of the energy used in district cooling last summer, which is a groundbreaking achievement for the cooling sector, we are proud that the campaign has been acknowledged and recognised even by a global forum," said Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.
Empower launched the campaign in June 2016 and received positive feedback and appreciation from its customers.
