Visiting Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr underlined the importance of laying down a unified Arab economic strategy to raise living standards in the Arab world.
Addressing the 21st annual conference of the Union of Arab Banks in Beirut, the minister underlined the importance of promoting Arab cooperation, especially in the water, energy and transportation domains.
The two-day event is held under the theme of "Lobbying for Better Arab - International Banking Cooperation."

The minister said Egypt is looking forward to laying down a plan with a timetable for activating Arab economic cooperation.
She stressed the importance of buttressing small and medium sized projects in Arab states.
