Egyptian commercial attache in Kuwait Medhat Adel said the volume of Egyptian exports to Kuwait hit 203.1 million dollars during the period between January and July, 2016.
Adel told MENA correspondent in Kuwait on Monday that the total trade volume between the two countries increased over the years, saying Egyptian exports raised from 263.2 million dollars during 2011 to 475 million dollars during 2015.
The volume of Egyptian imports increased from 58 million dollars during 2011 to 109.8 million dollars during 2015, he added.
Kuwait comes at third position among Arab countries as far as investments in Egypt are concerned, according to the attache.
Kuwaiti investments in Egypt recorded 15 billion dollars, with special focus on real estate investment, Adel said, adding Kuwait contributes to investment projects in Egypt with about 3 billion dollars.
Egypt and Kuwait are carrying out 1,021 joint investment projects, he noted.
