Minister Plenipotentiary for trade in Algeria Mohamed Sherif Fathi stressed that the Egyptian-Algerian economic ties are witnessing a leap under the leadership of Presidents Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
In statements to MENA on Thursday, he said the two countries are looking forward to building distinguished economic ties for the best interests of both countries.
He noted that the Egyptian commercial office in Algeria managed to up Egyptian exports to Algeria to more than 0.5 billion dollars by the end of 2016.
He added that the Algerian market is promising, especially for Egyptian companies operating in the fields of energy and construction.
He urged Egyptian companies to seek first hand experience of the Algerian market to boot investments.
