EgyptAir and the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) have agreed to launch a new service for their customers to purchase travel tickets on installments to any world destination.
They are offering six to 12 installments at the lowest possible interest rate.
In a statement released on Tuesday, EgyptAir Board Chairman Captain Sherif Ezzat said this decision comes as part of the company's keenness to present best offers and distinguished services to customers and meet the needs of various categories of agents.
He said customers could buy tickets via EgyptAir offices in Egypt and abroad with the NBE credit cards.
He termed the step as "important" for both the national Egyptian entities; EgyptAir and NBE, two of the most important economic foundations in the country.
He said the timing of launching the service could positively contribute to promoting tourism to Egypt especially ahead of the Christmas and new year vacations.
