Damietta Port received over the past 24 hours eight ships, including one container ship and seven cargo vessels, Damietta Port Authority Media Center said in a statement Saturday.
The statement noted that six ships left the port, including one container ship and five cargo vessels.
Meanwhile, 34 ships anchored outside the port until finalizing their entry procedures, it indicated.
