Damietta Port received six vessels laden with general goods over the past 24 hours, a statement by the Damietta Port Authority reported Saturday.
Also, two container ships and three cargo vessels left the port, the statement added.
There are 34 ships outside the port waiting to finalize their entry documents, the statement said.
The port's grain silo is currently have a stockpile of 95,97 tons of grain along with 160,647 tons of wheat, it added.
