Damietta Port received five vessels over the past 24 hours, the Media Center for Damietta Port Authority said in a statement on Wednesday.
They included one container ship and four cargo vessels, the statement added.
Meanwhile, one container ship and four cargo vessels have left the harbor, the statement read.
Some 22 ships have docked in the port, according to the statement.
Also, 28 vessels are in the anchorage area waiting for their entry procedures to be completed
