Egypt's exports to Arab countries stood at dlrs 907.5 million in May against dlrs 799.1 million in May 2015, while imports from the Arab world declined during the same period to reach dlrs 621.4 million, compared with dlrs 882 million.
Egypt's exports to the UAE increased during the same period to hit dlrs 270.5 million, against dlrs 114.6 million during this period, while imports reached dlrs 52.1 million in May compared with dlrs 112.3 million in the same month in 2014, according to a monthly bulletin released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
Also, Egyptian exports to Saudi Arab went down to stand at dlrs 194 million in May versus dlrs 209 million in the same month in 2015, while imports reduced to hit dlrs 303.7 million in May, compared with dlrs 344 million in the same period, according to CAPMAS.
