The Islamic Development Bank, IsDB, has lifted the suspension of Yemen's financial withdrawals and endorsed a one-year deferment of loan installments to accelerate execution of development projects funded by the bank in Yemen.
The Yemen official News Agency has quoted Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Mohammed Al-Sadi, as extending his appreciation to the IsDB's Board of Directors for the support translated by the decision to lift the suspension.
Al Sadi made the statements after his meeting with Bandar M. H. Hajjar, President, IsDB Group, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the financial foundations in Rabat, Morocco on Thursday, 20th April.
The two sides will agree on a prioritisation plan for the projects financed by the IsDB and its contributions to the rehabilitation process in Yemen, Al Sadi added.
