Arab League keen on promoting private sector role

The Arab League is keen on enlarging the role of the private sector, the engine of development in the Arab world, to reduce poverty and unemployment rates, Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi said.
Addressing the 16th Arab business forum in Cairo, Arabi said the Egyptian government is laying down a clear-cut plan to deal with investments through radical legislative amendments to attract Arab investors.
