The 38th session of the Arab Labor Conference started today in Egypt's capital Cairo . The one-week conference will discuss a number of topics, topped by a report on the micro, small and medium enterprises, the impacts of the economic crisis on the national and Arab employment and the social dialogue for sustainable development. The conference will discuss as well means of activating the recommendations taken during the Sharm el-Sheikh Arab Economic Summit held on January, 17, which decided to establish a Fund to finance projects of private sector SMEs with an estimated $ 2 billion capital. Participants are also scheduled to study the report of the 86th Arab Economic and Social Council and the 37th round of the Arab Labor Conference held last year in Manama. This year's session will put the accent on the impacts of the economic crisis on the on the national and Arabic workforce and the implementation of agreements and recommendations of the Arab Labor.
