The sale of the stalled Amwaj Gateway project has been postponed to November 29. The judicial Committee for the Settlement of Stalled Real Estate Projects announced the postponement of the public auction to protect the rights of all parties and allow more time for potential buyers.
The committee also slashed the initial price of the stalled project by 15 per cent down to BD 30.5 million, announcing that it would sell the project in separate parts in case it is not sold in its entirety.
Located near to the entrance of Bahrain’s Amwaj Islands, the Amwaj Gateway project comprises retail and commercial units, seafront townhouses, apartment towers, and a 143-room hotel building. The development occupies an area of approximately 33,400 square metres.
