Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, ADCB, was honoured yesterday with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Innovation Award and the Outstanding Award for Business Innovation. The awards were made in recognition of the bank's contributions in the field of business innovation, resulting in a superior customer experience. The award ceremony was held at the Madinat Jumeirah Arena in Dubai and was attended by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority, along with top government officials.
Instituted by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and held under the patronage of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Innovation Award offers the highest levels of recognition for business innovation in the UAE.
Ala’a Eraiqat, ADCB’s Group CEO received the award on behalf of ADCB, and said, "We are extremely honoured that ADCB’s consistent commitment to providing its customers with a superior banking experience has been recognised by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum through the important Business Innovation Award.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Innovation Award was launched in 2015, the Year of Innovation, by the Dubai Chamber in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy, and falls in line with the National Innovation Strategy. The award is aimed at recognising and celebrating the success of companies that contribute to the sustainable economic development of the UAE and the wider GCC region, and who are proven to be leaders in the realm of innovation across the GCC.
