Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, First Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has met with a Paraguayan ministerial delegation and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between companies and businessmen from both sides.
The delegation included Gustavo Leite, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Santiago Pena, Minister of Finance.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the organisation of a joint investment economic forum within the next three months.
Mr. Al-Mahmoud stressed the importance of strengthening trade relations and making greater efforts to enhance economic and investment cooperation, thus contributing to raising trade between the two nations.
Mr. Al-Mahmood confirmed that opportunities are available to expand cooperation between the UAE and Paraguayan businesses in a number of vital sectors, before going on to say that Abu Dhabi has become a centre for attracting international institutions creating hubs from which they can approach neighbouring markets, taking advantage of the facilities provided by authorities in the emirate.
The Paraguayan ministers praised the great achievements of the UAE in various sectors and the outstanding advances that have been reached, pointing out that the projects and initiatives being implemented in the UAE provide a vast range of opportunities for companies in the two countries to strengthen their partnership investments.
