Yon Ethraim Fearshaker has nurtured a love for literature since the eighth grade. From that time, he has written poetry, plays, short stories and essays. In his book, “The Wilted Pomegranate” (published by Xlibris), he gives a careful and compelling study of human character rendered in a four-act play. Fearshaker has recently launched a new publicity campaign for this volume which was first published in December 2014.
“The Wilted Pomegranate” follows the experiences of a young man who grapples with his identity and self-esteem. His parents grant him his inheritance and allow him to enroll in a nearby university, hoping that it will change his pessimistic outlook. When his parents pass away, however, the young hero’s forlorn attitude worsens. The situation is further complicated with the arrival of a young woman who strikes up a romance with the young man.
“The Wilted Pomegranate” has an estimated running time of two hours and 10 minutes. It features music, comedy, romance and tragedy.
