Al Qasba, Sharjah’s premier leisure, tourist and family destination,is staging ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ a Musical Theatre Showbased on the celebrated ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,’Lewis Carroll’s perennially popular 1865book. In the 150 years since its launch, the enduring children’s novel has been translated into 70 languages, adapted to the stage and developed into movie versions across the world.
Visitors can celebrate the Eid holidays at Al Qasbaby enjoying the 40-minute Alice in Wonderland musical show on the 6th,7th&8thof July, at MasrahAl Qasba- Theatre, with the production being staged three times a day at 5:30pm, 7:30pm and 9:30pm.Performed in English,the show is suitable for audiences of all ages and nationalities.
“By hosting ‘Alice in Wonderland’ at Al Qasba Theatre,we are seeking to present a fun-filled, interactiveand enjoyable event forfamilies. In addition to acquainting visitors with a celebrated international play based on one of the world’s most famous works of literature, we are also offering an array of other entertaining activities along Al Qasba walkways during Eid Al Fitr,” said Sultan Mohammed Shattaf, Al Qasba Manager.
Regularly performed at some of the world’s most famous theatres, Alice in Wonderlandtells of a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a world populated by peculiar creatures, with its fantasy elements giving the story lasting popularity with adults as well as children. The play takes the audience on a journey into the Wonderland where they can live Alice’s thrilling adventures with a group of expert singers, actors and acrobats who work together to create an amazing immersive experience.
With prices set at AED 50tickets for Alice in Wonderland at Masrah Al Qasba Theatre are being sold at Al Qasba Information Desk and online at Platinum List.
