Stand up comedian Hannibal Buress is getting his own Comedy Central show.
Buress is set to star and co-produce a in the weekly series in which he'll be "answering the burning questions on his mind" though stand-up, pre-taped segments, candid interviews and appearances by specials guests."
Comedy Central has approved 8 episodes of Why? With Hannibal Buress which will be taped in front a love audience and air non the same week. The series is set to premiere in July.
"Hannibal kept asking us 'why' so we just told him to go find out and we'll air it," said Kent Alterman, president of content development and original programming at Comedy Central, according to Variety.
Buress' one-hour stand-up special, Hannibal Buress: Live from Chicago, aired on the network in March 2014. The comedian is best known for co-hosting Cartoon Network's The Eric André Show and for his appearances on web series High Maintenance and The Kroll Show.
