According to E! News, Bill Murray, 64, will make his first long awaited Comic-Con appearance during a Thursday morning panel
Murray, who according to CBS sports just finished playing a day at the John Deere Classic, will appear on Thursday to promote his new film Rock the Kasbah. The exact details of his visit to Comic-Con are being kept under wraps, but the appearance is supposed to happen at 10:30 a.m. during Open Road Film's presentation.
In the upcoming film Murray stars as a music manager who discovers a teenage singer in Afghanistan, and heads to Kabul with the teen in order to compete in an American Idol type competition.
The film which was directed by Barry Levinson also stars Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Taylor Kinney and Scott Caan. Rock the Kasbah is due out in theaters on Oct. 23.
