Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi releases new book, 'Strong is the New Sexy'

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has released her new post-Jersey Shore memoir entitled Strong is the New Sexy: My Kickass Story on Getting My "Formula for Fierce."

The sequel to her previous best-selling release, A Shore Thing, chronicles Polizzi's lavish wedding with Jionni LaValle, her two childbirths and the former reality star's post Jersey Shore transformation.

The new release offers fans a look into her weight-loss regime and how she has been able to live a healthier lifestyle since leaving behind the destructive party animal persona she displayed on television.

"Let's be honest," she says. "Five years ago, most of the people who saw me on TV thought I'd wind up in rehab, a psych ward, or prison." Now with a family and a new lease on life, Polizzi writes to motivate her readers to seek out a healthier lifestyle as well.

"When you balance emotional strength with physical power, you feel the force in your body, heart, and soul. You're unbeatable."

Polizzi announced the release of her new memoir on Instagram Wednesday along with a photo of the book's cover.
