Alexandria's Book Fair, sponsored by the General Egyptian Book Organization, kicked off Wednesday, state-run news agency MENA reported. The fair, held at Abdel-Wahhab Theatre in Azarita district, will last until March 1. It includes various cultural activities and a number of symposiums to discuss Egyptian issues. Earlier this month, Egypt concluded the 44th Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) under the theme of "Dialogue, not Clash," with the participation of 735 publishers from 25 countries and regions, displaying books on different fields such as politics, economy, society, religion and art.
