In “Ninja Kitty” (published by AuthorHouse), written and illustrated by Neil Mattis, two kittens do their best to win the battle for their owners’ attention. “Ninja Kitty” is about two brave cats, Ninja and Leo. Readers follow them on their adventures with their neighborhood friends. Ninja and Leo’s friends include other cats, birds who live in a nearby oak tree, and even Rowdy and Chichi, two local dogs, who compete with the ninja kittens for the attention of the human owners. Along the way, they learn to be true ninjas from Cocoa, a dog who doesn’t side with the cats or the dogs. In “Ninja Kitty” Mattis emulates the humor of the classics of animation, including Bugs Bunny, the star of Looney Toons and Merry Melodies cartoons. Writing and drawing these stories brings him fulfillment, and he hopes the book brings laughter to readers. “It’s mostly directed toward children and some adults,” he explains. “But they’ll love it because it’ll take their mind off today’s problems.” Source: PRWEB
