Starlite is a new author who writes poetry and novels. But she also finds it difficult to accept electronic books. She wonders what is in store for the future of new and old books and their authors. She is a writer who wants to save traditional book publishing and fights technology and the dangers it could pose to society. “Passion, Sex and Technology” is the fourth book from author Aqualite. This story revolves around a writer named Starlite, a writer, singer, worker and a book gathering member who also joins a feminist parade to fight for women’s rights. She starts her fight against technology and gets herself into trouble with the law by stealing a famous and precious book to make her point across on the press all over Britain. Even if she was put into prison, Aqualite became a national hero for women and the gay community. While locked up in prison, she meets Penny, a gay woman and had an unusual relationship with her. Penny on the other hand got jealous of Aqualite’s illicit sexual encounters with the prison governor. But when she is released from prison, Starlite follows her main passion which is to travel around the world. An unusual, witty and adventurous story, “Passion, Sex and Technology” is based on true facts as it tackles issues that most people ignore like unlawful imprisonment, gay rights as well as the dangers of technology mature readers can easily relate with.
