Amy Poehler will soon add authorship to her list of accomplishments.
The 42-year-old actress and comedian has written Yes Please, an unconventional memoir scheduled for release later this year. Poehler revealed the book cover Wednesday on Today.
"I'm very excited to have you all read it," she says in an introductory statement.
The book is being published by the Dey Street Books division of HarperCollins. The publisher touts the work as "an illustrated nonlinear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons."
Yes Please hits bookstores October 28.
