Over five weekends the Bolognese and Modenese Appenine Mountains will transform into natural stages for music exhibits from all around the world. The music will be a blend of borders, genres, cultures and traditions. Eco della Musica (Musical Echoes) is an ecological musical festival that is now in its third consecutive year. Conceived, promoted and directed by Carlo Mayer, in collaboration with Marco Tamarri, the festival is being sponsored by the Region of Emilia Romagna, APT, the Provinces of Bologna and Modena, and the Communes of Alta Valle and Reno. It is especially dedicated to music and mountain lovers. The festival is an occasion to explore this beautiful region and, this year in particular, celebrate its people, who have responded bravely and commendably to the tragic events of the recent earthquakes here. The event will also highlight evocative trails and pathways, allowing guests to immerse themselves in verdant landscapes as they trek to concert sites. If they so choose, they can even stay the night in Alpine bivouacs or huts to experience nature even more intensely. From / ITALIA website
