FUNN, the organiser of the Sharjah International Children's Film Festival, hosted the FUNN Annual Mediaart Exhibition (FAME), on the side-lines of the 2nd edition of the festival which opened last Sunday.
The exhibition showcased works of students, and attracted a great deal of interest and attention from visitors who were happy with the works of children and young people who participated in FUNN's range of workshops.
The works included mobile photographs of tourist and leisure landmarks in Sharjah taken by children as well as films and videos displayed on the exhibition's wall screens.
Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, FUNN Manager and Director of Sharjah International Children's Film Festival, commented, "The workshops organised by FUNN throughout the year aim to enrich children's experience in filmmaking." Last August, the FUNN concluded activities of its summer camp – FUNN-tastic, which targeted children from 10 to 18 age group and aimed to provide its participants with foundation skills in filmmaking and film critique.
