Muscat Festival saw huge crowds over the weekend as more than 90,000 visitors graced Naseem Gardens and Amerat Park on Thursday and Friday alone.
According to data from the Statistics Committee at Muscat Festival 2017, 91,591 people, from adults and children, visited both parks on Thursday and Friday this past weekend.
Amerat Park registered 13,104 visitors on Thursday, 26 January while Friday the next day saw 24,809 of foot traffic.
Compared to Amerat Park, 17,990 people visited Naseem Gardens on Thursday while Friday saw numbers doubled to 35,688.
