Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said the Egyptians are sending a message to the entire world from the Pyramids plateau that the true Egyptian does not differentiate between religions and always calls for renouncing violence.
At the closing ceremony of the 7th International Samaa Festival for Spiritual Music and Chanting, Mahlab said the true Egyptians are sublime with their beautiful civilization that discards violence.
Minister of Culture Gaber Asfour said the festival is a message to the world that Egypt is safe by its people, heritage, culture and civilization and secure with its Muslims and Christians.
The ceremony included Sufi and spiritual singing by Muslims and Christians.
