The 12th edition of the International Jazz Festival in Constantine wrapped yp Friday night with flamenco guitarist Juan Carmona, and a master of Chaabi, P'tit Moh, in exquisite musical melting pot.
Juan Carmona with his dynamic playing, his virtuosity and his approach to the musical texture performed songs whose rhythm chants referred to former miners of Andalusia, arousing the enthusiasm of the audience, present in numbers.
P'tit Moh, whose real name is Mohamed Abdennour, continues with 'Aadrouni ya ahli ou nassi tloumouni lah' and 'Ana kaoui' in the tradition of the Algerian Chaabi. Juan returns again with festive tunes to interpret musical pieces expressing the Andalusian pure and powerful soul while P'tit Moh offers 'ôAchaq ezzin.'
The gentle back and forth from the violin bow, crystalline notes of the mandolin, accompanied by the synthesizer and derbouka gave a wealth of musical genres.
