Serving as the finest platform for cinema enthusiasts and talent alike, the latest edition of Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) is once again giving U.A.E. nationals and residents the opportunity to be part of the leading film festival in the region.
Set to captivate the region's film fans, the 11th edition of DIFF, which will run from the 10th to the 17th of December, will bring together filmmakers, industry professionals, leading film talent and media, to further cement its reputation as an innovative, exciting and world-class international film festival.
Mohammed Alhousani, DIFF's Senior Manager, Human Resources and Administration, said, "Since its inception in 2004, DIFF has been proud to deliver a Festival to the people of the city and beyond, by the people of the city.
"Those who have joined us in the past have received invaluable hands-on experience in their chosen field with many choosing to return for multiple editions. We very much look forward to welcoming the talented and enthusiastic teams who will help us deliver a fantastic Festival", he added.
Recognised as an exciting working platform for those interested in the media sector, the festival presents a great opportunity to enhance the skills of its recruits, gain behind-the-scenes experience and acquire inside knowledge on how the industry works.
Running from now through to January, the festival's talent acquisition targets qualified and dedicated candidates who seamlessly cater to an array of short-term vacancies across DIFF operations from front of stage to back office, and are valuable parts of DIFF's vibrant dynamic team.
Shreya Radia, who worked in the Marketing and Events department during last year's DIFF, said, "It was such a great experience to be part of DIFF and contribute to the success of the festival. I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to see how things work behind-the-scenes and I can truly say I learnt something new every single day. The role I was allocated to undertake provided excellent experience and has left an indelible impression on me whilst helping me to progress my career." In previous years, hundreds of temporary staff have joined DIFF annually, undertaking roles from registration to red carpet and hospitality to marketing. This an opportunity for candidates to gain a more in-depth understanding of the festival and its needs, and meet and interview with DIFF teams.
Interested applicants must be over 21 years of age, U.A.E. nationals or residents of the U.A.E. and can register online by completing the festival job application on the DIFF website. All applicants should present a passport copy with a valid U.A.E. visa.
