Isuzu produces a range of trucks London - Arabstoday Trade Van Driver, one of the UK's top van magazines for small business users, has announced the winners of its 2013 Trade Van Driver awards. For the second year running the Isuzu N35.150 Grafter 3.5 t tipper/dropside truck won the ‘Best Builder’s Truck Award 2013‘. According to the judges: “For the second year the Isuzu Grafter has won both the hearts and minds of our readership. This feisty little workhorse is well-suited to the tasks of builders and landscapers alike and collects its just desserts from them. The narrow cab and ladder chassis make the ideal combination for a true tradesman’s truck.” At a presentation held recently during this month’s CV Show at the NEC, Isuzu Motors Europe’s Chairman, Masayuki Murata, received the award from Trade Van Driver editor, Matthew Eisenegger. Now in their second year, the TVD Awards aim to give recognition to the manufacturers who, in the opinion of the judges, offer the very best to retail van buyers. In choosing the winners for each category, the entrants are not only judged by journalists from the publication, but also by a panel of readers who use light commercial vehicles as part of their everyday business. “For many businesses involved in the construction and landscaping sectors, the Isuzu 3.5 tonne Grafter is the workhorse of their fleets. Over the years, the Grafter has built a reputation for being reliable week in, week out, despite the arduous conditions of site work. For this to be recognised by receiving this award for the second consecutive year is further testament to the strength and popularity of the Grafter range,” said Keith Child, marketing director at Isuzu Truck.
