Islamic Republic of Iran's Representative to the United Nations Mohammad Khazaee in a letter to the rotating head of the United Nations Security Council cautioned against the immunity of Israel in continuing its crimes throughout the world. Khazaee made the remarks in a letter a copy of which was sent to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon while rejecting the groundless accusations by the Zionist regime regarding Iran's alleged involvement in a wave of bombings in India, Georgia and Thailand. The letter calls on the international community and UN Security Council to ask the illegal acts by the Zionist regime instead of accusing others. Khazaee said that the Zionist regime with the purpose of distorting the facts lodges baseless accusations against Iran in relation to a series of terrorist acts in India, Georgia and Thailand while Iran has a clear background in condemning the terrorist acts throughout the world. Parts of the letter reads, Iran has always been victim of terrorism itself, especially in the case of assassination of its nuclear scientists, particularly in view of the confessions made by those arrested in relation to the killing of Iranian scientists which became clear they were trained in Israel and by the Zionist regime. Khazaee noted that the Zionist regime's officials have acknowledged that assassination of Iran's nuclear scientists have been part of their efforts aimed at disrupting Iran's nuclear programme.
