Deputy Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Movement Sheikh Naim Qassem rejected the possibility of an Israeli military attack against Iran, saying that Tel Aviv would never dare to even think of doing such a grave mistake. "We believe that Israel is not able and does not dare to put such threats into action and its threats are just some rhetoric," Qassem said, addressing participants in the first meeting of Islamic Awakening Coordination Council in Tehran on Sunday. "Such threats and rhetoric are aimed at projecting the blame on others and staging propaganda maneuver," he added. Meantime Qassem warned about the grave and dangerous consequences of any aggression against Iran, and said Hezbollah condemns the US and Israeli threats against Tehran and underlines that it will remain besides the Islamic Republic. The US and Israel have intensified their rhetoric against Iran after a recent report from the International Atomic Energy Agency about Iran's nuclear capability. Israel and the US have not ruled out any option in attempting to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear capabilities. However, Iran has warned that any attack against it would be met with "iron fists."
