The Photography Committee at the Culture and Arts Association in Dammam will organize a photography gallery at Abdullah Al-Shiekh Art Hall at the association tomorrow under the theme “Zero Degrees Photography.” The three-day event will exhibit the works of four Saudi artists who will show their experiences through photographs reflecting contemporary life. The artists are Deya’a Yuosuf, Maryam Al-Masawi, Khalid Al-Marzouqi and Abdullah Al Mansour. The committee’s supervisor Musleh Jameel said the aim of holding the exhibition is to promote those Saudi artists who have different works that reflect the reality. He said the works in the exhibition are about cultural, intellectual and social aspects, adding that it will be “a different addition to the activities of visual arts in Saudi Arabia.” A book on the exhibition will be distributed on the opening day containing some of the exhibited works, reviews, artists’ biographies and their viewpoints on their works. The exhibition is the third for the committee this year. Arab news
