Shaikh Hisham opens annual fine art exhibition

Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa opened here today the annual fine art exhibition entitled "Manama, the capital of joy and beauty." organised by Al-Najma Club's Ras Ruman Youth Centre, with the participation of the citizens of first, second and fifth constituencies marking the Kingdom's National Days. Shaikh Hisham was informed about the paintings by a number of Bahraini artists, who briefed him about their work. Short films highlighting Manama's history and other social topics were screened during the event. The governor expressed admiration of the artistic works displayed at the exhibition, held by the Capital Governorate three consecutive years. He added that the artistic works displayed every year reflected the development of artistic movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Shaikh Hisham expressed his keeness to patronize annual fine art exhibitions, thanking Al-Najma’s Board of Directors and Ras Ruman Youth Centre’s Board of Directors for their attention and care for the talented youth, wishing them luck.
