A concert performing jazz, tango and flamenco music was given at the Oran Maghreb Hall by Toni Zenet, drawing a large audience.
This Spanish artist, nicknamed “the Andalusian crooner,” captivated the audience with his musical and vocal performances throughout the event, coinciding with the 15th edition of the European Cultural Festival in Algeria (May 9-30).
Oran music-lovers enjoyed a variety of tracks, such as “sonar contigo” (dream with you), which is among the singer’s successful productions.
Born in Malaga in 1967, Toni Zenet is distinguished by his prodigious voice which earned him many awards in acknowledgment to his contributions to music.
Zenet’s concert took place in the presence of Spanish Consul General in Oran and officials from the Cervantes Cultural Institute, organizer of this event in collaboration with Oran local administration.
The Cervantes Institute also hosted the screening of “Blanca Nieves” (Snow White), a movie by Spanish filmmaker Pablo Berger within the framework of the European Cultural Festival in Algeria.
