Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities opened the Exhibition of Kumamoto Artpolis: Architecture through Communication organized by the Commission in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan.
The opening ceremony was attended by Chargé D'affaires at the Japanese Embassy Katsuhiko Takahashi; a number of Ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries to the Kingdom including the Ambassadors of the United States of America, Lebanon, Brazil, Mexico and Albania; and a number of officials.
Addressing the ceremony, the Japanese Chargé D'affaires said that this exhibition comes within the mutual activities between the Kingdom and Japan in the context of the close relations binding the two countries in various fields, noting that the human communication and cultural exchanges between the peoples of the two countries contributed to the development and enhancement of the bilateral relations.
