A young girl uses her magical connection with animals and spirits to bring an important message to mankind in Esther Supernault’s new novel, “Wind Walker” (published by Trafford Publishing).
When a childless couple in a remote village finds a baby in a basket at their doorstep, they are overjoyed. A note pinned to the basket instructs the couple to guard the child for she is Sazani Ayan, a child of the Ishtari.
As Sazani develops magical powers that allow her to connect with Mother Nature’s creatures, her parents entrust her to a mysterious mentor who guides her as she learns to use her powers. Along the way Sazani encounters a teasing rock spirit, a dour whale, a clairvoyant Yeti and many other fantastic creatures as she strives to bring a strong message to all of mankind.
Light and engaging, “Wind Walker” weaves a fantastical tale of fun and adventure that readers of all ages can enjoy.
“Wind Walker” has been selected for inclusion in Trafford’s Gold Seal program, which recognizes excellence in writing and overall potential.
Praise for “Wind Walker”:
“‘Wind Walker’ is rich with faelike tales, and as Sazani journeys to capture them all, it will enchant young and adult readers alike who wish for a more whimsical tale amidst a genre that is saturated with dystopians and dark paranormal tales.
