Information Affairs Authority (IAA)'s President Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi, today honored winners and jury members of the national contest of poetry that was launched on Bahrain Radio at the beginning of December 2013 on the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebrations of its National Days, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 42nd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 14th Anniversary of HM's Accession to the Throne. IAA's President hailed the outstanding level of the poets participated in the national contest, who expressed in their verses loyalty to Bahrain and its leadership and embodied the national achievements and gains made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.He commended the jury and grogram team's hard work to make this contest wonderfully successful.Jury and winning poets appreciated IAA's President's support for poets in the Kingdom of Bahrain, adding such poetry contests enrich the poetry field and provide it with new talents that preserve Bahrain's history and heritage.Among 21 poets reached the final stage, poet Mohammed Mansour Al-Mubarak sealed the first place, while poet Nawaf Al-Mahmoud was the runner-up and poet Khalid Abdullah Al-Khalidi placed in third, whose poems were broadcasted on three radio stations.Jamal Al-Kaed composed a musical prelude accompanied the radio program that was directed by Ahmed Al-Obaidly and supervised by poet Yunus Al-Eid.The meeting was attended by Director of Radio Bahrain Yunus Salman,
