Prisms refract light, breaking it into pieces so viewers can see the many shades of color in the light. In her new book of poetry, “PRISM: POETRY COLLECTION” (published by AuthorHouse), author Adela Gibson applies this principle to poetry, breaking apart the shades of emotion. “I’ve been writing all my life,” Gibson says. “I decided it’s time to share my thoughts.” Gibson covers love, spirituality and family in her poems. She hopes that through choosing such universal topics, her poetry will be relatable and appealing to a wide array of readers. An excerpt from the poem, “The Spirit of Time” from “PRISM”: “… We cannot runaway; we cannot hide For on vestige elements our essence ride Without our frames, we still can climb Truly running to, but not from Time There’s no escape—No! Nowhere to run It will do no good when finally Time has come …” Source: PRWEB
