The 5th International Cultural Festival of Symphonic Music in Algiers which wrapped up Thursday night at Moufdi-Zakaria Palace of Culture has enabled the exchange between people and better public access to the universal genre. For eight days, the audience enjoyed the National Symphony Orchestra (OSN) and the performances of twenty other countries whose respective groups have chosen to perform the most famous pieces from World music large repertoire including several works of G. Verdi with "La Traviata", particularly. The National Symphony Orchestra (OSN) which embarked for several years in a hard work in a high academic level, "spread every year its identity in the world," the festival organizers said. Maestro Hacène Larbi, of OSN in this fifth edition, has vehemently marked his passage to Algiers generating a "great positive energy, with both rational and aesthetic and, modern and authentic dimension."
