Activities of the Rainbow film festival which is organized by the General Institution of Cinema opened at al-Kindi Hall in Damascus. I have dreamt of Africa', film opened the Rainbow activities. The film talked about Koki the woman who has visited Africa with her family when she was a child, Later, Koki was 25 years old when she returned to Africa with her Husband and son. She build a farm and worked in the protection of the endangered wildlife in the region, such as elephants and rhinos. But as Africa was a place for beauty and splendor, it also was a place of danger and tragedy as koki's husband was unexpectedly killed and Koki was left alone to defend her son and her unborn child. The festival, which lasts until May 7th, screens 20 films.
