The 4th National Female Creativity Festival opened Thursday at Bastion 23 in Algiers with the participation of about 40 Algerian and foreign craftswomen. This event, which will run till June 13, will be marked by the organization of an exhibition of female artistic works representing several provinces of the country as well as art objects made by foreign artists from Bulgaria, Iran and Spain. A stand was exclusively devoted to the paintings of late Aicha Haddad as well as Ouisa Bacha’s works. "The Algerian heritage concealsunique pieces in the world that we have to protect," said Culture Minister Khalida Toumi who attended the event’s opening ceremony.
