An exhibition devoted to photos and the liberation war opened Thursday in Oran with the participation of amateur photographers from several provinces of the country.
Organized by the Art and Culture Office of Oran’s commune as part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the National Liberation War, this exhibition aims at “offering to the next generations of photographers a space to display their own view of the glorious armed revolution.”
At least 15 photographers from the provinces of Tlemcen, Algiers, Tizi Ouzou, Constantine, Blida, Annaba, Skikda, Bejaia and Oran are participating with 3 photos each.
This exhibition will be a trip into Algeria’s rich history through places and events which are unknown by several Algerians.
