Egypt inaugurates in China an exhibition displaying pictures on the best tourist, natural and historic places in Egypt.
Egyptian Ambassador in Beijing Magdy Amer opened the exhibition which displays more than 100,000 pictures captured by professional and amateur Chinese photographers.
The exhibition marks the 66th anniversary of establishing the People's Republic of China and the 42nd anniversary of Egypt's October victory.
Amer noted that Egypt and China will also celebrate this year the 60th anniversary of establishing bilateral diplomatic ties.
Amer said the embassy has cooperated for two years with the Chinese Silk Road association to launch this exhibition.
The head of the Chinese association said the visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El Sisi to China in December has furthered bilateral ties as the two sides signed an all-out strategic partnership deal.
