A crafts exhibition highlighting artistic works shaped by Algerian women began Tuesday night at the Palace of Culture Moufdi Zakaria.
The event, which involves 21 women artisans representing different regions of Algeria, offers until March 14 diverse works in embroidery, traditional clothes, silk painting, ceramics and others.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture on the occasion of the International Women's Day, this event "represents a space dedicated to women to exhibit their works," said the Minister of Culture Nadia Labidi at the opening of this exhibition, stressing the need to "highlight the efforts of the exhibiting women for the promotion of these crafts."
Visitors can discover the latest innovations introduced to craft works.
